Bart Howard was a great friend and had already written "In Other Words" which I recorded...better known as "Fly Me To The Moon" after Frank Sinatra recorded it and the first line of the song became the new title.

Anyway...Don and I told Bart about our idea for this new project...three days later he came back with a wonderful song called "Love is A Season" that definitely set the tone so beautifully and it became the title of the album.

Eydie Gormé, Eydie Swings the Blues, Eydie Vamps the Roaring Twenties, Eydie In Love, and Showstoppers were "blockbusters" for me. Love Is A Season is less familiar, but none the less a great change of pace...
