A NOTE FROM EYDIE

When I was a kid in the Bronx and my parents were looking for me they could always find me at the movies. I would go to Loew's Theatre on 167th Street, or the really best of the best, The Loew's Paradise Theatre on the Grand Concourse.

On Saturdays... I would sit there for hours and watch the same movie over and over again. I loved the great old musicals. Sometimes I would close my eyes and pretend to be in the film with those wonderful stars... singing those great songs.

Well... I never made it to the silver screen, but I did the next best thing. I was lucky enough to be able to record so many of those beautiful songs.

I have personally put together this great collection of great music from the movies.
